  1939年7月生,浙江镇海人,长期从事微波、毫米波和光波理论和技术方面的教学工作。由于在教书育人和科研方面成绩显著,贡献突出,于1992年起享受国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴;1992年被评为中国科技大学优秀党员;1993年评为中国科技大学优秀教师;1994年获王宽诚育才奖;1998年被评为中国科学院优秀研究生导师;1999年获中国科学院伟华奖;2000年获中国科学院彭荫刚奖;2001年被国家人事部和教育部授予全国模范教师称号,被安徽省评为省模范教师;现为IEEE Fellow。

  1983-1986年在美国纽约理工大学作科研工作;

  1991.9-1992.2和1993.3-8以客座专家和教授身份在德国维尔兹堡大学合作研究;

  1998.6-12以及2000.7-12月以正教授身份在日本东北大学工作;

  曾应邀去美国、加拿大、日本、德国、南韩及香港一些学校讲学和访问;

  多次担任国际会议名誉主席、主席、技术委员会主席、副主席、成员;

  国际顾问委员会主席、委员和策划委员会主席、委员及分会主席等职并多次应邀在会上作特邀报告。

 


  长期从事微波、毫米波及光波理论和技术方面的科研工作。完成过多项国家自然科学基金、国家教委基金、国防科工委基金、国家科技部基金项目和各部委科研任务。这些研究不仅在学术上提出了新的思想,新的观点,在技术上提出了新的方法和新的器件,取得了国内外同行公认的创造性研究成果;而且结合航空航天部,电子部,国防科工委的有关研究项目,对我国东方红3号通信卫星赋形天线及馈电网络的研制,雷达散射截面及预警飞机的电磁兼容特性的分析,一点多址通信全向天线的研制及基于多传感器的高精度定位与跟踪系统的研究等方面做出了有重要实用意义的研究成果,得到了有关方面的高度赞扬。由于在科研工作中做出重大贡献,于1993年获得中国科学院自然科学一等奖;1995年获国防科工委光华科技一等奖;2003年获得安徽省院自然科学二等奖;2000年和2003年获得安徽省优秀科技论文一等奖;1981年和1982年分别获得中科院重大科技成果二、三等奖等。
