2013年6月19日至20日间，美国莱特州立大学（Wright State University）电气工程系副教授吴志强博士应邀访问我校。6月20日上午，吴博士在西区电三楼314会议室做了一场题为“Hybrid Overlay/Underlay Cognitive Radio: Theory and Implementation”的学术报告。该报告会得到了研究生教育创新研究计划之高水平前沿系列讲座项目的支持，由电子工程与信息科学系无线网络实验室卫国教授教授主持。来自电子工程与信息科学系的数十位老师和研究生参加了报告会。　　

　　吴博士简历：

　　Dr. Zhiqiang Wu received his BS from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1993, MS from Peking University in 1996, and PhD from Colorado State University in 2002, all in electrical engineering. He has worked at West Virginia University Institute of Technology as assistant professor from 2003 to 2005. He joined Wright State University in 2005 and currently serves as associate professor. He also worked for China Academy for Telecommunication Technologies and Motorola. Dr. Wu is the author of national CDMA network management standard of China. He also co-authored one of the first books on multi-carrier transmission for wireless communication. He has published more than 80 papers in journals and conferences. He has served as Chair of Acoustic Communication IG of IEEE Technical Committee on Multimedia Communications and guest editor of IEEE MMTC E-letter. His research has been supported by the National Science Foundation, Air Force Office of Scientific Research, Air Force Research Laboratory, Office of Naval Research, and NASA. His work on software defined radio implementation of cognitive radio received the Best Demo Award at IEEE Globecom 2010.
